Pilots Roll Past Purdue-Calumet

The Bethel College men’s basketball team dominated Purdue University Calumet on Tuesday night by the final score of 116—65.
The Pilots forced 29 turnovers and shot 63% from the field.
Six Pilots finished the night in double figures led by William Walker’s 23 and Ryne Lightfoot’s 16. Walker also contributed 8 boards and 4 assists while Lightfoot compiled 6 assists and 6 steals. Other Pilots in double figures were Caleb Laidig with 14, Mark Lettinga with 12, Tyler Brown with 11 and Derek Moser, who put on a fabulous shooting display in his hometown, had 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
The Pilots will travel to Mount Pleasant, Iowa this weekend to take on Hannibal-LaGrange on Friday night and Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday in the IWC Kiwannas Classic.
