COMMITTMENTS

Darrell Hopkins : 6’6 Forward from Michigan City High School. Hopkins spent nearly all of his Junior season on the sidelines with an injury. He comes from a long line of Michigan City players to take their game to Bethel College (Theo Williams, Ricky Gooden, Jon Jones, William Walker and Stephen Ward). In Michigan City’s first 2 games of the ‘08-’09 season, Darrell led his team in scoring and rebounding with a 15 point/20 rebound effort in game one and a 21 point/8 rebound effort in game two.

Colton Keel : 6’4 Forward from Triton High School. Keel is an athletic body that plays with a tremendous amount of passion and hustle. Last year he helped lead the Triton Trojans to the 1A state title with 2 last-second baskets during their post-season run to Conseco. Keel’s game is very similar to Bethel junior Wes Laidig. “Colton will be a great addition to Bethel College. He has a very high basketball I.Q. and does the little things that make a team successful. He never takes a play off and gives you maximum effort on both ends of the floor.” -Coach Lightfoot
